Ben Franklin


1) Ben Franklin was born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 17, 1706.

2) At the age of 81, Ben was the oldest and the wisest man at the Consitiutional Convention.
3) He graduated from the University of Oxford.
4) Ben attended grammar school at the age of only eight!
5) Ben founded the first fire company.
6) Ben taught himself languages in his youth.
7) Ben's father was a Puritan.
8) He signed the Contitution along with the Declaration of Independence.
9) He was the governor of the state he represented, Pennsylvania, from 1785- 1787.
10) Ben's long life ended on April 17, 1790.
